I'm bringing bookbinding to Inverell! Taking place in my office studio, I'm excited to get creative with you~
Join me for a beginner-friendly relaxed day of hand-crafting your own notebooks from beautiful papers of your choice. In each class you'll learn to use various tools and techniques of this artisan craft.
In the morning, you'll be guided through folding and compiling papers for a multi-signature textblock, customise your covers from a range of decorative papers and traditional bookcloths, and finally choose your thread for the braided-style coptic stitch to create a lay-flat notebook.
Our afternoon class looks into the centuries-old long stitch methods with an adhesive-free folded cover. Incredibly adaptable for your own style!
PLEASE NOTE
- Need assistance? Bring a helper for free.
- Plenty of free parking is available on-site.
- Please keep in mind that the studio is upstairs.
